Do you perform in English?
Yes. The show is performed in English, so international guests do not need an interpreter.
Can you perform for guests who do not speak Japanese?
Yes. The show is built on visual magic and audience participation, so guests can follow and join in without any Japanese.
Can you perform in both English and Japanese?
Yes. For a mixed audience — for example an international wedding or a joint event — the show can combine English and Japanese in one programme.
What type of events do you perform at?
Corporate events, gala dinners, hotel banquets, incentive trips, award ceremonies, welcome receptions, weddings and private VIP dinners.
How long is the show?
A stage or illusion show usually runs 20–30 minutes. Close-up magic is adjusted to the size of your event. Formats can be combined to fit your schedule.
How many guests can you perform for?
From an intimate VIP dinner to banquets of around 200 guests. For larger audiences, tell us your numbers and venue and we will recommend the right format.
Can you perform at our hotel?
Yes. Hotel banquet rooms are among the most common venues — including Imperial Hotel Osaka, Hotel Nikko Osaka and Hilton Hiroshima.
Do you perform outside Osaka and Kyoto?
Yes. Hiroto is based in Osaka and travels throughout Japan. Travel costs depend on the location and are included in the quotation.
Can you coordinate directly with our venue or event planner?
Yes. Hiroto handles the coordination himself — in Japanese with the venue and in English with you — covering stage, sound, setup and timing.
What technical equipment is required?
It depends on the format. We normally use the venue’s sound system and microphones; a sound operator can be arranged if needed (additional fee). Illusion shows need a stage and backstage space. See Technical Requirements.
Do you offer traditional Japanese magic?
Hiroto’s Japanese show is a Japanese-inspired modern illusion performance — kimono-style costumes, sword imagery and large-scale illusion with modern staging. It is not a reproduction of traditional Japanese magic as a classical performing art.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as your date and venue are set. December and January are the busiest months. Short-notice requests are welcome — just ask.
What currency are quotations in?
All quotations are provided in Japanese yen unless otherwise agreed.
